Rapidé® is a 100% South African online retail company. We comply with all the relevant South African consumer legislation, including the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act of 2000(ECTA).
In terms of Section 44 of the ECTA you have a 7 day cooling off period during which you may return goods. You will however be liable for the return courier fees. See Exchange/Refund: S44 Cooling off period for conditions.
In the event that a dispute should arise between Rapidé® and yourself which needs settling by means of litigation, accepting these terms and conditions implies your agreement that the High Court of South Africa has jurisdiction to settle the dispute.
All disputes will be settled in accordance with South African Legislature.
Agreements of Sale
Placing an item in a shopping basket without completing the purchase cycle does not constitute an agreement of sale between Rapidé© and users cannot hold Rapidé® liable if such items are not available when the purchase cycle is completed later; and/or constitute an order for such an item; and Rapidé® may remove such an item from the shopping basket if no stock is available.
An agreement of sale between Rapidé and a user only comes into effect if and when a credit card authorisation is received from the issuing bank; or a deposit of an electronic transfer is reflected on Rapidé’s® bank statement (and only if such payment is received within 5 (five) business days after completion of the purchase cycle); or a direct deposit is reflected on Rapidé’s® bank statement (and only if such payment is received within 5 (five) business days after completion of the purchase cycle.
Rapidé® reserves the right to refuse to accept and/or execute an order without giving any reasons. Rapidé® also reserves the right to cancel orders in whole or in part as circumstances dictate. Rapidé® shall only be liable to refund monies already paid by the user.
Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that your order is ready for collection/delivery as soon as possible, please allow anything from 2 - 10 working days for delivery.
Insurance Cover During Shipping
At check-out, you may elect to select either an insured or uninsured delivery option. Should you elect not to insure your order, Rapidé® cannot be held accountable for any loss or damage to the ordered goods that may occur during shipping to your delivery address.
When purchasing goods at Rapidé© payment can be made by means of electronic transfer, credit card or cash. Rapidé© accepts VISA and Mastercard.
When paying by means of electronic transfer Rapidé® will only process your order once confirmation of payment has been received. Please email your Proof of Payment to sales@rapidé.co.za Orders will only be "Processed" once we receive the POP.
Payment by means of Credit card is handled by Payfast - an independent and secure payment gateway which ensures absolute security when buying online by means of a credit card.
Rapidé® updates stock levels daily. Should an item become temporarily out of stock, the item will be listed as ‘out of stock’. In the instance that an item becomes permanently out of stock, the item will be removed from the website entirely. In the rare event that you should order an item that has become temporarily out of stock without the item displaying as ‘out of stock’, we will contact you and you may elect to either cancel the order or wait until the item is in stock again.

Pricing, Errors and Omissions Excepted
Rapidé® goes to great lengths to ensure that the content, images, descriptions, prices and information on the website and invoices are accurate. Discrepancies can arise due to model changes, stock availability and human error. Rapidé.co.za cannot be held liable for items supplied that are not to the specification described. Prices are also subject to change due to fluctuating exchange rates. All prices include VAT. Prices are updated regularly and may change without prior notice. Rapidé.co.za reserves the right to change prices without notice from time to time.
Rapidé® reserves the right to make changes at any time, without notice, in specifications, prices, models, decals, materials, colour and appearance of our products.
