How To Order
Ordering from us is easy, you can review your days order as you shop, so you know what you have chosen and the total cost at any stage. Shipping is calculated automatically and we use a Door To Door courier service with online tracking and Next Business Day Delivery. Outlying areas, wheels, frames and bikes may take 2-3 days. Shipping is FREE if the order value is over R1000. If you’re unsure about how to go about ordering your items, have a look below.
Creating An Account
If you have not ordered from us previously, when you fill in your delivery details at checkout an account will be created which you can log into for future orders.
Adding Items to your Basket
Browse the website – we add sale items and new products on a regular basis so keep checking back.
Take a moment to sign up for our newsletter to keep up to speed with news on new arrivals, specials and more.
Click on the products picture/title to take you to the product page to view more detailed information.
Take note of the product options for size/color/quantity, and select where appropriate
Once you are happy with your selection click ‘Add to cart’ to add the product to your basket.
View your basket content by hovering your cursor over the Cart tab at the top right of the screen which appears once you have added the first item to the cart or click on the cart icon on the top bar. A drop-down menu will reveal what’s currently in the basket, this is useful if you need to review your order. You can also view the basket total, and delete items.
At this point you can go straight to checkout, view the contents of your basket, or continue shopping.
Checkout
Click on Checkout either in the sidebar Cart menu or the Cart drop down at the top right of the screen.
You will be prompted to log in to your Rapidé account, if you have not registered with us yet, please follow the simple registration procedure which will enable us to process your order with more efficiency.
Billing Details – your billing address. You can update or changes your details by clicking on Edit.
Shipping Address – if you want your order delivered to a different address to you Billing Address you can change the details here by clicking on Edit. Please note: our couriers cannot deliver to P.O box addresses. Special Instructions or Notes – enter any special instructions or details about your order or delivery here.
Your Order – review the items you have selected and if you need to make any changes click on the My Cart icon at the top right of the screen or you can continue shopping by choosing one of the sections in the Menu Bar at the top of the screen .
Shipping and Handling – Orders R1000 and over will be sent free of charge, for orders under R1000 delivery is calculated depending on destination. We have local collection and Next Business Day delivery options. Please see the shipping section for more information.
Insurance – For orders over R1000: if you would like to add insurance cover for the delivery of your order please check the tick box here. The delivery charge for orders under R1000 includes insurance.
Payment Information – Chose between Credit Card and EFT/Cash on Collection if you wish to pay by EFT or when you collect from us. Check the tick box next to Terms & Conditions if you agree and then click Place Order. If you have chosen the credit card option you will be redirected to the PayFast secure payment screen. For Normal EFT or Pay on Collection an invoice will be emailed to you with payment or collection details.
3D Secure/Payer Authentication For Credit Card Transactions
What is 3D Secure / Payer Authentication?
A: 3D Secure or Payer Authentication (MasterCard® SecureCode™ and Verified by Visa) provides an additional layer of security and protects you, the cardholder, when you make an online purchase using a debit or credit card. Your bank identifies you by your OTP or previously selected PIN / Password and therefore knows it’s you shopping online with your credit card. In doing so, no fraudulent transactions can be made if your card has been lost or stolen – giving you more control of your shopping experience. There are no extra costs involved. You can shop in total confidence that your credit card details are safe and secure.
Q: How do you register with 3D Secure / Payer Authentication?
A: The following banks have pre-enrolled all Visa and MasterCard credit cards. All you need to do is follow the instructions below to check / activate your card now.
Absa – check / activate your card
Nedbank – check / activate your card
Standard Bank – check / activate your card
FNB:
Log on to your FNB Online Banking profile and follow these prompts:
- Select the “My Bank Accounts” tab
- Select the “My Cards” sub tab
- Click on “Activate Now” in the “Verified by Visa” column for the card that you would like to activate
- Capture the relevant details
- You will be sent a OTP to your mobile phone which you will then need to enter on your online banking profile
Once done, your card will be activated for 3D Secure/Payer Authentication online banking.
Investec:
Please use your credit card pin when prompted to submit the one-time password (OTP).

Q: My bank is not listed, how do I enroll for 3D Secure / Payer Authentication?
A: Please contact your bank to find out how you can enroll for 3D Secure or Payer Authentication on your credit card. Certain credit card issuers, such as American Express and Diners Club, do not subscribe to 3D Secure / Payer Authentication yet. These cardholders will not be required to enter a One-Time Pin or Password when shopping online.

Free Shipping On Orders Over R1000*
We have free shipping on all orders R1000 and over. Orders under R1000 ship for between R99 and R235 depending on item size and destination. Delivery is generally Next Business Day although some outlying areas and large items like wheels and frames may take 2-3 days to deliver.
Free Delivery does not include insurance and can be optionally added at checkout.
Insurance
For orders over R1000: if you would like to add insurance cover (2% of order value) for the delivery of your order please check the tick box on the Checkout page. The delivery charge for orders under R1000 includes insurance.
*Free Shipping is only available in South Africa. When Free Delivery is calculated services such as Wheel Building, Wheel Truing, Work Shop Labour and Gift Cards are not included toward the Free Shipping minimum amount.

Next Business Day Delivery: We offer Next Business Day delivery to most main centers around South Africa – check with us to make sure we can deliver in your area.
International Shipping
We ship world wide using the Expedited Mail Service (EMS). EMS is an international priority mail service that provides a fast and reliable door-to-door delivery.
We ship everywhere, if you don’t see your country listed at checkout please contact us with the form on the right hand side of the page and we will quickly add your destination.
Calculating Shipping Costs
Add your items to the cart and select your currency from the list on the right hand side of the page.
Enter you delivery details on the Checkout page and the shipping will display. All prices will be in South African Rands but if you return to the Cart page you will see the itemized Shopping Cart in your currency. Here you can also add insurance to your order as required.
Delivery is 4-5 working days
The maximum weight is 30kg per order
The delivery is fully trackable
The items must be correctly addressed to a street address and include a phone number
In the case of dutiable items, the recipient will be phoned to collect the items from the Post Office against positive identification
The items will be subject to customs inspections
Inquiries regarding an EMS parcel must be made within 90 days of posting
Items may be subjected to delay in the destination country due to customs inspection and any import-related formalities
