The Rapidé TR27-27 650b rim is a super wide and strong tubeless ready rim. The bead hooks are designed to prevent the tyre burping at lower pressures. The wide 27mm internal – 32mm external widths help create a great tyre profile and increase volume. Fitted with spoke eyelets and welded at the join for extra strength, durability and a better balanced wheel. Wayne helped advise me on these rims and they are super awesome. I smashed a kerb head-on at high speed and dinged my rear rim, which was totally my fault, and yet the rim still held full air and held true. I fixed the rim myself and is still perfect. Can highly recommend these wheels.
