Light weight AL 7075-T6 alloy chainring bolts for single chainrings in a variety of colours.
* Mountain biking rattles bolts loose – use a quality thread lock compound such as Loctite 242, to prevent this. Pay particular attention to things like chain ring bolts – a lost chainring bolt can lead to chainring failure.
* We recommend torquing chainring bolts to 6-8nm and periodic inspection.

There’s something to be said about the quality of these bolts… Unlike the menu pictures at McDonalds and KFC, these bolts actually look as good in your hand as they do in the pictures. Absolutely perfectly made, fine tolerances, incredible quality. It’s worth noting that if you are planning on running a 1x setup however, do not attempt to use the short bolts with spacers. The short bolts are intended for mounting your chainring right up against your crank arm. If you’re going to be using spacers, rather get the longer bolts to ensure that there’s plenty of thread left to secure the bolts in place.

The coloured bolts are good to add some bling to your bicycle. Owners of older GXP 1x cranksets should note that the longer, “double” bolts are required.
