    Thicker spacers would have been awesome, bought 2 x sets, but I think I will need more. However the products purchased was of decent condition and also Rapide are on the ball with their online purchases and delivery.

    Like everything else from Rapide, these spacers are machined to perfection to take some strain off your chain when running a 1x setup by moving the chainring closer to the frame and in line with the granny gear where I spend most of my time. huffing and puffing up a hill 🙂

    Absolutely worth contacting Wayne on anything cycling related. Great service, speedy delivery, great product. I used it to move my chain into a more neutral position when changing my 2x into a 1x drivetrain – much to the surprise of the local bike shop owner. I did have to use standard 8mm male/female chainring bolts and ditch the 10mm bolts and the female caps they screw into on my FC M980 XTR crank, but that is to be expected, having added 2mm of spacers… I am sure that this is a unique situation and probably easily remedied if I had had 12mm chainring bolts at hand.But back to the spacers: they work perfectly.     Perfect for the requirement, namely converting my tandem to right-side-drive only, using conventional road cranks, with an additional chainring for the timing chain front and rear, using these spacers to achieve the correct clearance required. Mission accomplished!
