Rapidé TR27-25 EC Wheels are designed to be light yet strong enough for hard trails and hard riders to use everyday.
The Rapidé TR27-25 EC rims are tubeless ready for easy tubeless set up. The 25mm internal – 30mm external widths help create a great tyre profile and increase volume. The TR27-25 EC rim also has bead hooks designed to prevent the tyre burping at lower pressures.
Rapidé TR27-25 EC wheels also come with tubeless rim tape and tubeless valves already installed.

Bought this 25 mm internal rim width front wheel to replace the narrow 19 mm 650b wheel on my 2014 Giant Trance 2. Wayne custom builds the wheels to the customer’s spec so I had blue nipples fitted. Wheel runs beautifully true without the slightest hint of vertical or horizontal deflection. The 25 mm width rim broadens out the tyre tread so there is more grip on corners and berms, and more tyre face to absorb impact when blasting through rock gardens. Very solid through corners without any lateral movement on the spokes. Doubled walled, tubeless ready rims have taken several big hits already without any visible dents. The hub is made by Novatec and has full sealed bearings (easily replaced) with understated Rapide branding. In summary: great looking, value for money wheel that is strong enough for trail and medium enduro and light enough for cross country.

These wheels are incredibly light whilst at the same time still being very stiff. Good product. Also very easy to seat tubeless tires with just a floor pump
